It is a pretty, clear day, and Cat cannot resist getting out his banjo to play a tune. It is the perfect day for a musical jamboree in the barnyard, but Cat needs a few friends to join him. Thankfully, Pig arrives and he is carrying his washboard. Soon he and Cat are walking around with a spring in their step as they make music.

Of course, there is always room for more musicians, and soon Sheep arrives with an accordion, followed by Horse, who has a drum. Not wanting to be left out, Cow joins in, strumming a guitar.

Little children will enjoy seeing which animal will next join the musical parade presented in this charming little board book. Tabbed pages and a novelty surprise on the last spread gives the book a unique feel.
