Imagine what it would be like to live in a book. It would be great – if you had a story. In this book, there is a little girl who does not have a story. Her parents have a story, as does her brother. Even her pets have stories. However, the little girl does not have a story and she finds this very unnerving.

Thus it is that the little girl sets off to find her story, going from page to page. Mother Goose takes her to the place where fairy tale characters live, but the little girl decides that her story is not a fairy tale. Nor is her story a mystery because "mysteries make me nervous!" She does not want to be Alice, and she finds pirates hard to understand. What is she going to do next?

Drawn from the perspective of the reader, this book gives one a very unique book reading experience. Readers will meet many old friends as they follow the little girl from page to page, and they will be delighted when they see what the little girl chooses to do. Sometimes you need to think outside the box... um... the page, to find what you are looking for.
