Reunion

Meg Cabot

Fiction (Series)

Ages 12 and up

HarperCollins, 2004, 0-0607-2513-3

Suze is thrilled because Gina, her best from New York, is visiting. Everything is going really well until Suze sees four teenage ghosts in a beach front store. The four are in the process of stealing some beer when they realize that Suze - unlike everyone else - can see them. Suze later finds out that the four were killed in a car accident, and that Michael Meducci - one of her classmates - was the driver of the other car. People are feeling sorry for nerdy Michael, thinking that he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, and they certainly don’t blame him for the accident.

And then the four dead teens try to kill Michael. Suze, being a mediator, feels that she has to step in and protect the boy. She imagines that the vengeful dead teenagers are just a bad lot. Then she finds out something about the teens that makes her begin to think that perhaps they have a good reason for wanting to kill Michael. Could it be that the nerdy much-bullied boy is not what he seems?

In this exciting third title in the Mediator series, Meg Cabot not only tells a riveting story full of unexpected twists and turns, but she also finds a way to show her readers that being popular is not the most important thing in life. There are many other things that are far more important. In addition there are moments when you might have to step up and take a stand when someone is doing the wrong thing.
