There are times when young children struggle to try to remember the meaning of words, especially when the words describe concepts rather than things. In this colorful and cleverly crafted pop-up book, David Carter helps little children to see what up, down, in, out, on, and off looks like. He uses his delightful little insect characters to demonstrate these concepts simply and effectively. He shows a bug inside a box and a bug outside a box. A bug with a light bulb posterior (which is lit up) shows us what on means, and so on.
