Clayton and Desmond want to make their teacher, Mrs. Mousely, a very special Valentine’s day card. Together they begin to work on the card using lost of different techniques and materials to make their creation pretty. Unfortunately they have different ideas about what should be done to make the card special. Desmond thinks Clayton used too much glitter and Clayton thinks Desmond glued on to many paper hearts. In the end the two little mice have an awful fight and decide that they are going to make separate cards.

The problem is, when Desmond tries to make a card on his own it doesn’t look right and the same thing happens to Clayton. It is only when the two mice set aside their differences and work together that they are able to make the best Valentine card ever.

A simple storyline with easy to understand text makes this mouse tale about friendship and cooperation an unequivocal success. Young mice fans will also enjoy the illustrations rendered in soft colors and black ink.
