It is first thing in the morning and a little boy and his little sister are having a very messy breakfast in the kitchen. Then Mommy comes in, and when she sees the time on the kitchen clock, she quickly gets the children together. It is getting late and Mommy needs to “scoot.”
Soon enough the little boy is at his preschool where he says “hi” to his teacher. Then he runs to the shelf to get a book to read. After everyone arrives, all the children get busy doing an art project and soon there are lots of “painty hands and / Gooey glue.” Then, after he puts together a puzzle, the little boy goes outside to play in the playground. What a busy day he is having at preschool!
This little book will delight little children who are going to preschool for the first time. On its pages, they will see cheerful images of preschool life, which are perfectly complimented by Linda Leopold Strauss’ bouncy rhyming couplets.
