Peter is happy to be back on Mollusk Island after his sojourn in England where he had some hard times fighting the forces on evil not so long ago. What he does not know is that Lord Aster and his Starcatcher colleagues have determined that the Others are already up to their old tricks again. Lord Aster?s daughter Molly and her cousin George Darling decide to do a little snooping and they discover that Peter is in grave danger. There is nothing for it ? they will have to go to Mollusk Island to make sure that Peter is all right.

Unfortunately they are too late, for by the time they get to the island Peter, the boys, and Captain Hook have all been kidnapped by none other than the terrifying Lord Ombra. Thankfully Lord Aster is able to follow the evil creature back to his lair in the Kingdom of Rundoon.

It would appear the Lord Ombra, the Others, and the King of Rundoon want to use Peter to determine where the next starstuff Fall will come to earth. Apparently Peter, like his father before him, is a Watcher. He is able to sense where the starstuff will land. To make matters worse Lord Ombra has hired a mad scientist to build a rocket which is capable of making a starstuff Fall occur right over Rundoon. If Lord Aster, Molly, and George don?t do something to stop Lord Ombra and the King, they will have enormous amounts of starstuff at their disposal and Lord Ombra will have the means to destroy the entire planet.

In this third and final book in the Starcatchers Series, Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson bring their fantastical story to a highly satisfying conclusion. Readers will find out how Captain Hook?s crocodile ends up with a clock in its belly and why the people on Peter?s island never grow old. With flying ships, carpets (and camels) and all manner of adventures taking place all the time, this is a story which will keep the reader thoroughly entertained and engaged from the first page to the last.
