On a crisp fall day a little monster goes to the pumpkin patch to choose a pumpkin. The monster knows what kind of pumpkin it wants and there, in the patch, it finds the perfect one. The pumpkin is very large indeed and the little monster has a hard time carrying the huge thing to its wagon.
When the monster gets the pumpkin home it gets to work. There is going to be contest that very night, a jack-o-lantern contest, and the monster really wants to win. The monster also has to put on its costume as it will soon be time to go out into the dark night for trick-or-treating.
Little children who enjoy choosing pumpkins for Halloween are going to love this little board book with its amusing monster characters.
