The author of this book has collected ten sets of words that rhyme. These include “Cat Hat,” “See Tree,” and “How Bow.” For each set of words, the author has written a short poem, which the reader is encouraged to read and to comment on by drawing a picture. The reader is also asked to practice writing the words on the little chalkboard that is part of the book.
This is one of the titles in the “My Little Chalkboard” series, and it is a Kinesthetic Learning Tool that was designed to help children improve their reading and writing skills. Because the book comes with its own chalkboard, chalk, chalkboard eraser, and a cleaning cloth, this is a perfect set to take on trips.
