The children have had their dinner and taken their baths, and they are dressed in their pajamas. Then the front door opens and their father walks in, his arms open wide for hugs from his son and daughter.

In fact, Dad is happy to be a bucking bronco, monkey bars, a seesaw, and a slid. Being a one-man playground for his children makes that time before bedtime special for all three of them.
