Stinky Face and his mother are preparing for Christmas Day and, as always, Stinky Face has a lot of questions and concerns. After all, what would they all do if Santa lost one of his boots; or how would they manage if it snowed so much the they couldn't get out the door; what would happen if a great wind blew in and carried off their Christmas tree?

Mama, being a brilliant mama with a wonderful imagination, always has the prefect answers to her Stink Face's many questions. There is no doubt that with Mama's ingenuity, with a little help from a kindly Christmasaurus, and with the companionship of little snowman in the freezer, Stinky Face is going to have a very wonderful Christmas after all.

Funny, and with just the right amount of the absurd, this wonderful Stinky Face picture book once again reminds us of how mamas all over the world answer the questions and sooth the concerns of their children. We also see how Mamas are able to make special celebrations truly special just by being the wonderful Mamas that they are.
