World War I

Today many people have no idea why World War I started. On this occasion, the assassination of an Austrian duke provided the spark that lit the fire of war . When the war began in 1914 no one believed that the conflict would last long, but it lasted for four long years and millions of people died. Unfortunately this costly war came to close in such a way that it lead to the outbreak of another war, World War II.
