It is breakfast time and Mama is packing lunch for her little son, Stinky Face. It is almost time for school and they will have to leave soon, but Stinky Face has a question that he wants to ask before they go. What will happen if the school bus is so full that the tires pop when he gets on board? Mama, who has a lot of experience with her little son’s odd questions, tells him that if this happens she will call the circus and ask the clowns to collect the children and drive them to the school in their “crazy little cars.”

Most children would be content with this answer, but Stinky Face is not. What if he gets so dizzy from the journey in the clown cars that he ends up in the principal’s office instead of his homeroom? Mama explains that the principal will help Stinky Face find his class.

But what it the principal is a really a witch who casts a terrible spell on Stinky Face? What will Mama do then?

Little children are going to thoroughly enjoy this deliciously goofy little book. If they are experiencing first-day-of-school jitters, Stinky Face’s questions and his mother’s answers will surely take the edge off their fears.
