There are times when little dinosaurs - and little children - do not behave as they should. They are crabby when they wake up in the morning, they don’t eat their breakfast properly, they throw sand at others when they are playing in the sandbox, or they refuse to sleep at naptime. These are everyday occurrences for little dinosaurs, and they certainly are annoying. Thankfully little dinosaurs also give their grownups kisses, hugs, and loving words, and whatever they do, little dinosaurs always be loved by their grownups.
Once again, Jane Yolen and Mark Teague have created a picture book that perfectly captures the kinds of things little children experience. Using humor and wonderful dinosaur characters, they remind little children that they are loved no matter what they do.
This is one in a series of board and picture books about little dinosaurs.
