It is cold outside and there is snow on the ground, but indoors it is nice and warm. A fire crackles in the fireplace, and on the windowsill, candles burn in the Hanukkah menorah. Together the family cook and eat latkes, they sing a song about Judah Maccabee, and open gifts. The children play with a dreidel, and they have “eight full nights / Of happy Hanukkah candle lights.”

This simple little board book will help very young children to learn about a family Hanukkah celebration.
