One lovely early spring day Davy's big brother Dan comes running up to tell his family about this most extraordinary thing that he has heard. He tells them about a rabbit, called the Easter Bunny, who brings "presents and pretty eggs" to human children on Easter. As Easter is the very next day the little rabbit children go looking for the Easter Bunny to ask him if they too can get such treats on Easter.

Alas the illusive bunny cannot be found and Davy's brothers and sisters go home disappointed. Davy however is not the kind of bunny who gives up that easily. Since the Easter Bunny cannot be found, Davy decides that he will be the one to make sure that Easter morning is a special one for his brothers and sisters.

Davy's kindness to others and his determination that they will not be let down by the Easter Bunny is a reminder to all that there truly is a joy to be had in giving to others. One can only imagine how happy and proud the little rabbit must feel as he watches his brothers and sisters find their treats.

Delightfully warm illustrations and expressive characters bouncing and running across the pages makes this a winning spring title.
