A little boy is with his father, and they are going to plant a garden together. At the garden center, the little boy chooses some seeds, and then he had his father plant them in a tray. After receiving a little water and some sunlight, the seeds soon send up little plants.  Later, the little boy helps his father transplant some plants into the garden and to sow some lettuce seeds in the ground. The plants will need to be watered, and then there will be weeds to pull. Soon enough there will be flowers to admire and fresh veggies to harvest and eat.

This board book helps little children to see that creating a garden takes a lot of work, but it is also a lot of fun. It is something to do that gives you a great deal of pleasure, and you have something to show for your labors at the end.

With a simple text and brightly colored illustrations, this book is perfect for little children who want to become gardeners.
