One morning Farmer Brown goes to read his newspaper only to find that someone has cut something out of it. Naturally this makes Farmer Brown very suspicious. He has learned, from bitter experience, that when something fishy is going on, his farm animals are often “up to something.”

Farmer Brown keeps a close eye on the cows, the sheep, the pigs, and Duck. At night he hears the animals making what he thinks are snoring sounds. Poor Farmer Brown does not realize that his animals are actually rehearsing their singing and dancing. He has no idea that his animals have plans, plans that they intend to keep a secret!

Readers who enjoyed Click Clack Moo Cows that type will be delighted to see that Duck and his chums are up to their old tricks. Once again Farmer Brown and the farm animals try to outwit each other, and once again their story is deliciously funny. This book is sure to become a firm favorite with young children and their families.
