It was a lovely summer's day and Little Nutbrown Hare and Big Nutbrown Hare were down by the river together. The hares couldn't help noticing that on such a day there were "colors everywhere." The two hares began to ask each other which color they liked best. Of all the blues Big Nutbrown Hare liked the blue of the sky best, and of all the yellows Little Nutbrown Hare liked the yellow of a certain flower best.

They took turns picking colors until Little Nutbrown Hare asked Big Nutbrown Hare "Which brown do you like best?" This question made Big Nutbrown Hare smile and, of course he had the best answer of all.

This title from the "Guess How Much I Love You" series is sure to delight little children who are learning their colors. Children might even be tempted to try the "which color is your favorite?" game for themselves. Best of all, the story concludes with a gentle reaffirmation of love.

With Anita Jeram's lovely illustrations to compliment the seamless and perfectly satisfying text, this is a board book that little children will turn to again and again.
