Learning “A is for Apple” and “B is for Ball” and so on is usually quite easy for children. It is when they try to figure out more A, B, and C words, and when they try to figure out how to write those same letters of the alphabet that problems occur. When you want to write a D, do you start at the bottom or the top? M is for moon, but what else is it for?

In this clever novelty board book, children will learn more than then the usual A is for Apple. They will learn how to write the letters of the alphabet, and they will also learn two words to go with every letter instead of one.

For example, on the P page there is a large capital P with a small p next to it. The tracks imbedded in the page show us how to create a capital P. We read that “P is for Pig,” and below these words there is a picture of a pink pig. The pig is standing on a flap that can be opened like a door. Beneath this are the words “and pear” and there is a picture of a pear. Children will learn that P is for pig and for pear, and they will see how a big P is written and what a small p looks like.

The novelty features in this board book will help little children to learn their alphabet in a new and creative way.
